Team Krunch 79 with the help of Honeywell engineers and other mentors competed amongst 60 teams on March 10, 2006 to become the  2006 FRC Florida Regional Winning Alliance  Congratulations to all who contributed to their success! FIRST--   (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)  is a multinational non-profit organization that may have a team in your town! Team 79's goal is to unite Mentors, Engineers, and Students with Engineering and Robotics. They learn by using positive attitudes, the latest technology, the will to influence the community, and by commiting acts of gracious professionalism on and off the playing field. Team 79 creates several FLL teams each year along with hosting FLL tournaments at their school. Team 79 has created several programs to introduce students to the field of engineering.   East Lake High School has been selected as the new Engineering Program Magnet School
